    • I’d still be worried about Spurs if they had demonstrated any tactical flexibility at all this season…. Which they haven’t.  Any sensible coach would look at the 2 bankers in the final two games and think if we are slightly more pragmatic than normal and pick up a win and two draws against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City we’ve got a real chance here…. But Ange being Ange will play in EXACTLY the same way as everyone expects and teams of this quality will be ready for them in exactly the same way Newcastle were.
    • Laurence Fox has to pay £180,000 in libel charges to two people he defamed on Twitter. Two payments of £90,000 to each person
    • Glad I'm not the only who finds the process of uploading an image a bit tedious.
    • Same thought I had made it just in time at 2, I guess others had quicker fingers than me, gutted!
    • The scramble for Harrison is insane. Was listening to a guy from Pro Football Focus on a live podcast the other day reeling off WRs in this draft class and saying there's not much between the ones who'll go early in the 1st round and those who'll likely go anywhere in the 2nd. The value is there as the pool level for WRs is pretty deep this year. Surely one from Brian Thomas, Xavier Legette (/Worthy), or Keon Coleman will drop into round 2 and there's not much difference in talent, if anything, between those and MHJ, Nabers, and Odunze. Even guys like Pearsall, Franklin, and Polk offer fantastic value.
    • 2021 was awesome for me personally, felt like the cob webs of corona were finally shook off, i walked in to town in shorts and tshirt, sat outside a pub in front of a big screen tv with a lot of other people and got absolutely **** smashed for the first time in about 18 months i enjoyed it that much i did it several times
    • don't disagree about cheating city but in that same time period man utd have 2 league cups, arsenal have 2 fa cups, Leicester have an FA cup and a PL title in the last 9 seasons chelsea have 1 PL, 1 FA cup, 1 CL and 1 EL - they've also lost 7 finals in that time while we are told that klopp is a world class manager and one of the all time greats in English football, VVD is the best PL CB ever, TAA is world class, Salah is world class, Alisson is the best keeper in the league - and to be fair to them they are a very good team, at times over his tenure they've been outright brilliant - but the trophy haul simply doesn't reflect that, 9 years would put him at 36 trophies available, they won 5 so 14% and they've not been knocked out of these cup competitions by man city, they've lost to Southampton, Leicester, us, wolves (x2) west ham, west brom
    • Well exactly. But they’ve decided to ditch the doing stuff thing, because it’s short term unpopular (to an extent).  One of the problems of democracy is party interest over national or global interests and the nationalist parties are just as prone to that as any others
    • Thanks Fightoffyour! https://imgur.com/53Rx6pr Sorry everyone - not as smooth as the rest of you.... the insert button doesn't like my link, and I'm clearly not getting it - is it restricted for newbies? These designs are somewhat original, but in large part draw basis and inspiration, with some tweaks (some almost copies - so acknowledgements to you all), from many posters on here, 1957 badge, previous badges, tradition, and looking at the array of modern designs across the top leagues in europe.  I feel it has to predominantly Claret and Blue (not yellow and blue) so it works on the shirt and in media as a representation of us. Current lion is far better than the blobby lion from learner (in my opinion), but back facing left and not falling over.  Star is gone - its small time - if we hope to be in the UCL in the next season(s), take it off now! Most work well on claret or white (away kit should always be white) with maybe a font colour change on some.  Apart from one these, the AV diamond with gold lion (I think by teale's tash) would be my vote rather than the drop shadow abomination..
