The Villa View

After what feel like weeks we've finally revealed our new logo and rebranding. With a massive thanks to @TheHolteTweets on Twitter and Michael Scrivens from towerandcrane.com we have a professional looking new logo, cover art and a video intro.

It's something we're immensely proud of and an image that we're really happy to represent our work. The lion's mane is shaped to resemble that of a speech bubble to reflect our opinion based content.

    • The difference here is that because Man United are one of the most famous clubs in the world, and can actually attract huge sponsorship deals, it will be easier for them to splurge money on whatever they want as they aren’t Bolton with a bank balance like Citeh. If they are bought by a group from Qatar they will do a Chelsea on an unprecedented scale and Premier League football will just be getting more and more pointless. There will be clubs like us spending £100m on players and the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea spending 10x that much. Not sure where the fair part of financial fair play is coming from.
    • Also bugger. 3rd guess was a 50:50 Wordle 599 4/6* ⬜⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
    • He made team of the year twice and I think the only player in Premier League history to win player of the month 3 times in a calendar year
    • Another sacred cow I never found funny at all. File with Rik Mayall and Robin Williams. Never got it, didn’t find any of them or it funny.
    • I literally just read the story on it and thought the same thing. It won’t work now I don’t think.
    • Can't agree with that, although he was very good.
    • Yeah. I couldn’t believe it. Not only had he not used one, he hadn’t even seen one… maybe he’s been living under a rock for 3 years.
    • It’s not even that he'll butcher it. The original FT is just a wee bit too xenophobic for current mores, the humour is a time capsule of bygone times is one thing but how does that work in a modern “boutique” setting?
    • I’ve never been that fussed about the original series in all honesty.  It’s fine, there are bits that I think are very funny and I get why it’s revered. But in the pantheon of “classic” sitcoms I have it some way below the likes of Porridge, Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads, Steptoe & Son, etc.
