    • Looks like he’s holding out for Madrid.
    • If he's fit he'll start tomorrow. Rodgers isn't up to it yet.
    • Need concentrate on Wolves before we worry about Manchester City, Wolves lost their last game, but this season have been good at following up defeats with victories, also I think their squad is a lot stronger than many give it credit for, Neto and Hwang are out, but Cunha and Sarabia stats wise at least are just as dangerous as the injured duo, when we underestimate teams is when we're more likely to come unstuck, so have to guard against that. A win would be the perfect tonic
    • For me betting on your own team or own game, win lose draw, corners, yellow cards whatever is irrelevant it's a massive no no  Betting on non league Im not really fussed, betting on who wins the next corner in the Ukrainian 2nd division at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon while Sat in the office absolutely couldn't care less Betting on other sports should definitely be allowed  If we're saying football is full of gambling I don't mind players being able to bet on games where there is a huge degree of separation from them  Edit the answer of course should be no one can place that Ukrainian bet but I've seen that happen at my work, it's stupid
    • It doesn't really matter if he was only betting on them to win, it's effectively insider trading. We've seen team news leak when premier league players change their fantasy teams, dropping team mates for example.
    • He has to start if the alternatives are Zaniolo and Rogers. Hopefully we get ahead and can then take him off in the second half where the game state will better suit the replacement options.
    • I can remember Keith Leonard saying something similar. If Saunders called the players together you could tell the ones that had been drinking, they'd be down tying their bootlaces!  Bumped into Sid and his son Henry about a year ago now and it was a bit of a shock to see him TBH. I've seen a lot of Dementia and Alzheimer's over the years, both my parents had it and the wife's parents too, but to see someone with it who's only 2 years older than me was an eye opener.  All the best to him and his family.
    • Ease him back in and then maybe start him against brentford. Him and Mcginn coming back in the starting lineup would be a huge boost.
    • That’s a really unpleasant view point to be honest. Aston Villa should absolutely re respectful of heritage and rare beauty to be found in the locality. Aston Hall and Villa Park are just about the only decent features of a deprived area, they should stand side by side. Not to mention that the park is well used by the community.    The plans they had to build a new stand were fine but they’ve canned them for whatever reason. I’d also be open to a move but that doesn’t look likely either. The plan to add 3k more seats doesn’t look particularly feasible.    Looks like they’re going to let Villa Park become slowly more outdated and limited. A bit like Old Trafford but without the capacity.
