gilbertoAVFC
Think he'll have a job on his hands in the coming weeks that's for sure!
bose
I've seen so little of him, so I look forward to see how he copes. Probably the only interesting thing concerning Villa the next few weeks.

Brumstopdogs
Guzan vs Kevin Davies = more goals conceded for Villa.
bickster Posted December 10, 2011 Moderator Share Posted December 10, 2011 Keepers coming for crosses is old school, very few keepers do it these days, in some respects it is best to have the bloke who can use his hands as your last line of defence, not the first line of defence. Sometimes its best not to chuck your best weapon into the battle at the start
R.Bear
Quality today. Held everything, made some good saves and couldnt have done anything about the goal. Keep it up big bad Brad
dudevillaisnice
Had a good game I thought, still a bit iffy when it comes to crosses in the box but overall good.
VillaAlex
Yep good game, distributes the ball better and far more quickly then Given. Obviously less reliable though. Bigger tests will come when we play more aerially dominant teams, as Bolton have attempted the least crosses this season IIRC.
AVFC-Prideofbrum
Two of the saves from where I was were absolutely outstanding, especially reactions from Kevin Davies header.
VillaChris
Yep, looked good on the highlights. Just a bit worried he's unsure when to come off his line, think he'll struggle at Stoke but be relatively o.k in the other games.
Supervillan78
Had a good game today. He's certainly decent back up for Given.
TheTransferWindow
Yep, looked good on the highlights. Just a bit worried he's unsure when to come off his line, think he'll struggle at Stoke but be relatively o.k in the other games. That's where he struggled a couple of seasons ago, in all those cup games against Blackburn where Big Sam would have his players bully him on crosses. He also hasn't played much since he left Hull last season so it could take him a couple of games to get to top form.
roscoe
Thought Bolton dominated us in the air tonight which is a worry keeping Stoke in mind. Anyway, Brad did well, and its great to see him finally get a chance to have a decent run of games, although not under ideal circumstances (Given's injury)
holtelower
To be honest I think some of the posts above must be from people who have never seen him play. Today showed us nothing that we didnt know already. He's a very good shot stopper, but does not command his box and is dodgy on crosses. Luckily today, and surprisingly given the personnel they have - they didnt put many crosses in.

smetrov
he has always looked good in a 'one off' - last time the problems started when he was playing week in \ week out - he couldnt seem to put his mistakes behind him. hopefully he has matured - thought he did well enough yesterday
TheDrums
He did well yesterday.
Mr_Dogg
What some people forget or don't even know is that he had just 80 minutes PL football before yesterday, he's not going to be the complete keeper without experience.
beasley14
Glad he did well back from the dead then it seems.
Czechlad
He is a good keeper. It's sad that he only got his first chance as our #1 this late.
