Why is it that everyone beats Man United except us? Now we have to beat Liverpool at home, something we have done once in almost 20 years, just to be in the same bloody position.

Relative to Sunderland yes. Relative to the number of points we have, and potentially the team in 17th, not so.

Still, it's a psychological blow.

Let's just hope Norwich and Newcastle lose. If the Mags win at Chelsea then that would be a disasterous weekend before we have even kicked a ball.

Put simply new signings have given them (the players and fans) a lift aswell as Big Sam, even their owner seemed to turn up for a game, contrast that to us and well...

Careful you will upset the Remi Garde love in

That's got nothing to do with Garde. It's Lerner not backing the team financially.

Every team isn't going to conveniently lose every match to help us and we aren't going win every game, there will be plenty of ups and downs before the seasons over and done with. Sunderland have caused a bit of an upset today, but will probably lose games where they expect to do better as well. Hopefully we can cause a few upsets of our own, starting tomorrow.

Makes no difference to us, we are still the same points away from safety. It's odd how many people actuall niy think it's just the bottom team that goes down.

You can also put it this way: we have to go past three teams. One of them almost certainly has to be Sunderland. This made it 3 points more difficult.

It was better had they lost. But if we win tomorrow and things went our way today it could still be a good week.

For now, Two results are going our way although not directly. Bournmouth and Palace losing. WBA are winning which isn't good but hopefully Everton could turn in around as they're doing good.

More importantly, Norwich, Newcastle and Swansea hopefully lose.

Of course it makes a difference. We have to catch Sunderland to have any hope of staying up. It's odd how you think it makes no difference to us that a team whom we need to finish above has just won.
