What Song Are You Listening To Right Now?

Chopin's Nocturnes. We've just had a piano delivered this week and as a mediocre guitarist I fantasise about being able to play anything by Chopin on the piano.

Someone mentioned in another thread a few weeks ago, explaining experiencing 'euphoria' from sounds.

Nice.

Spotify is amazing for listening to different versions of the same track.

That's a modern recording on a posh label. Mirare have Skip Sempe and Pierre Hantai (harpsichord) on their books, both of whom are very good. Actually, Sempe is brilliant.

I have Maria Joao Pires doing the Nocturnes, she's very good. Rubinstein, Richter and Cortot are also worth investigating.

If you really like the Perez and listen to music on a HiFi, the CD will kick Spotify's ass.

Classical stuff is generally recorded and mastered to a higher standard. They reckon you've got a bit more money to spend on your stereo.
