We lost 2-1 to Blackburn Rovers in the fa youth cup 5th round at villa park last Monday evening, I was in attendance and thought that winger Andre Green stole the show in the first half but faded in the second half. 1st year scholar right back Mitch Clark had a very solid game, he was great defensively and also showed great ability going forwards

I was talking to a taxi driver on the way back from the game yesterday who mentioned that a son of his friend plays for the Villa, Easah Suliman.

Apparently he's a very dedicated young man. The club offered to put him up in a flat in Sutton but he chose to stay at home with his family, to stay grounded. Really down to earth, hard working, values his education massively. "Typical young Asian lad" were his words!

Asian young footballer of the year last year. I now understand that he's a central defender and he captained England at the U17 world cup recently. I'd like to hear more about him.

I think Bayern Munich and Arsenal were after him fairly recently.

He was very solid, he's a cultured centre back, good in the air and he's also good on the deck, he's also a leader

Seems very grounded, indeed.  There's always hype around "flair" players at youth level (rarely solid defenders), but I think this kid could be the real deal.  Will be interesting to see if Garde brings him in to the first team set up at some point soon.

I don't know about that, I think we will be a force to be reckoned with in League 1 and the Johnstones paint trophy in a couple of years

Yeah thats the one. I live about 5 miles away so would have been good to pop down. Just found this on Arsenal site though, so they will be playing behind closed doors.
