  1. Glad to see our great club has at last been sold, hopefully to an entrepreneur who will supply the necessary funding to firstly get us back into the Premier League in one season, naturally there may be concerns about the new owner but one thing is certain somebody has forked out £50/£60 million to buy us and I would have thought that Lerner would have carried out a degree of scrutiny before he signed us over. Time will tell.

    Jordan Ayew

Talk down here in Swansea is that he will be joining his brother Andre at the Swans next season,he should look a lot happier in the Swans team who battered W Ham 4-1 today.
  3. One out of work Manager we can rule out is Brendan Rodgers who will be appointed the new Swansea Manager at season end.Mixed feelings down here in Swansea amongst the fans.
  4. Rogders is coming back to Swansea that's pretty well certain.

    Tom Fox

Lifelong Villan living down here in Swansea and distraught that our great club has degenerated into a laughing stock, the man I would like to see appointed to the role of CEO is Jonathan Ford,Chief Executive,of the Football Association of Wales for whom he has done a brilliant job.Very well versed in all the arts of Commercial Marketing in the modern business environment he has brought the FAW into the 21st Century with all the aplomb of a true professional businessman. Would be a great appointment.

    Pre-Match Thread

Lifelong Villian living down here in Swansea, can tell you that the Swans are not taking Saturday's game lightly, they know that one more win will probably see them safe for another season and are approaching the game accordingly. In Siggerson they probably have the best support striker in the PL at the moment and if he's not carefully watched he can easily get a couple of goals himself he's in that kind of form,Andre Ayew will not play as he is injured, other that that they have a fully fit squad, which now includes the lightening quick winger Mo Barrow who scored his first PL goal last Saturday. All in all a tough game lets hope we can put up a good performance.
  7. Turning aside how he played,Dean should be sanctioned by the appropriate Governing Body,he clearly saw the incident and did not protect the player concerned,Westwood. He should have given a red card to Dembele.
  8. Spurs are a strong side who play quick attacking football, too many mistakes at the back by us and we will be hammered, they have a very good goalkeeper and it will take something pretty special by us to beat him.Can see nothing but at least a 2-0 win for Spurs but football as we all know can throw up surprises, perhaps one tonight.

    New manager

Simeone!! Stop embarrassing yourself Understand what you are saying and it is highly unlikely but that's the type of Manager we should now aspire to,think we have all forgotten that Aston Villa was a big club and can be so again with the right Manager at the helm. There is around £150M at stake next season and onwrads so lets make sure that we have access to it.

    New manager

Did think once that Hasselbank could do the job,but on reflection an experienced Manager is what's required, given time Moyes could produce a team at our club, although the one big drawback is as with any new Manager the players are not his, that's the conundrum.Mind you turning to Spain may not be a bad idea if not Moyes, the name of Diego Simeone would be a great appointment,no messing with him and an eye for a player, may see the fact that Klopp has come to the PL as an additional challenge. Simeone or Moyes.
  11. There is a growing consensus down here in Swansea than Monk is walking a tight rope despite his length of tenure at the Swans both on and off the pitch. The one intangible about playing them next Saturday is that which team will turn up,if the real Swans arrive we will be in trouble as they are as they have proved this season able to beat anybody in the PL,so hope for the best but don't get to despondent if we lose.
  12. As I am living in Swansea watched their game live last night, they were awful and I mean awful. They do not have a settled side but do have an outstanding keeper, even we can beat them despite the fact that our form is poor as well as theirs. 2-1 Villa.
  13. Villan living in Swansea therefore see all their home games, they are capable of beating anybody at the Liberty, away is another matter, been pretty awful this season and are looking for their first win away.If they turn up very difficult match,if they don't then 3 points could be obtained providing we do not give away stupid goal. Can see a 1-1 with Sherwood still in the hot seat.
  14. To have any hope of avoiding relegation this season we must and I mean must beat teams like Swansea next Saturday, they are a very tidy team who play the game the right way with no enforcer's which should suit us. They have been poor away this season and anything but 3 points will indicate that relegation here we come, only hope a new Manager.
  15. See nothing but a defeat,Chelsea are not suddenly a bad side and we are far from a good one.
