I thought it was the most disappointing and short sighted ending to any game I've played in a long time. Major spoiler-heavy post game thoughts. I felt a bit cheated too! Dont really want to carry on : ( Have you kept playing untill the credits have rolled?

We need a couple more to push up way up that table, i think a McCann replacement is a must, he can tackle and gets stuck in, but unfortunatly couldnt pass the salt. NRC or Joey Barton could take his place, as they both have teh bite, but have a lot lot more creativity. More like Ian Taylor was for us!

Doesnt anybody think that we should now try for Joey Barton for his 5.5m release fee? he is auwality box to box midfielder with a creative spark we need desperately!

If we do not bid the 5.5m for Barton i will be shocked, it will be a huge jump forward in terms on player quality and ambition... but since its Villa i wont be shocked if it does not happen! If i was MON i would be busting my balls to get players liek Barton in even if it meant paying over the odds... WENEED IT!
