| How do you lose a game 2-1 against a conference south side with a defence like that? Young, Cuellar, Davies, Shorey? |

Just got back in the door, absolutely roasting out there today. What can I say about the game, well, err...
Pros:
-Albrighton looked bright.
-Clark was very tidy when he came on.
-Bannan was a bit of a terrier, surprising considering his size.
-Cuéllar ventured past half-way ( ) and sprayed some lovely passes about.
-Collins Jnr looked a real handful in a short space of time.
-That new home kit is actually lovely in the flesh, I'm totally turned around on it now.
-Hate that new yellow GK kit? Well...
Now I do like that!
Cons:
-I've yet to see Osbourne pass the ball forward.
-Davies was awful (more on this in a moment).
-On the basis of one game (which isn't fair really, but what the heck) we won't be seeing Herd, Hogg or Forrester anytime soon.
You would've thought I'd be a bit miserable, quite the contrary; it was a great laugh. Yelling "Halfhuid! You da bomb at Feyenoord" went down well, and King Carlos must have talked to every pitchside fan on his way off the field. Oh, and then there's these...
Back on the Davies news, it could very well be nothing but I said to both him and Luke Young that I was hoping to see a bit more of them next season, to which they both replied "I don't know about that". Take from that what you will, I know there's already been a lot of talk that the pair are among those we're looking to get rid off. At least Albrighton seemed a lot happier about his prospects.
All in all, definitely worth a tenner (and the sunburn I now have!). |

VILLA: Parish, L Young, Shorey, Hogg, Cuellar, Davies, Albrighton, Osbourne, Forrester, Bannan, Herd. Substitutes: Lichaj (for Herd 67), Siegrist, Clark (for Cuellar 52), Collins Jr (for Forrester 52), Berry, Deeney, Flanaghan, Halfhuid, Burke (for Bannan 85), Taylor.
So, ninety minutes for Young, Shorey, Albrighton and Davies. I think we can rule them out for tomorrow. |

At least we know Cuellar and Davies will not be starting tomorrow against Peterbrough. So I'd expect us to start with,

Nice to see the players sign autographs.
I remember when DOL was in charge and the team in Dublin he got security to make sure no autographs were signed and no talking with the players. Even though some of players actually wanted to meet the fans. Was probably why Kinsella, Johnsen and Dublin were moved out in the 12 month after
Was a disgrace |

They're all the rage, they prefer the term man bag though rather than purse |
