I think it's a bit of both. I don't think he's the careless waster some make him out as, but at the same time he looks a shadow of the player who was at Swansea. Either way, he's not getting back into form any time soon or more relevantly soon enough to help us stay up, so I hope he doesn't get any more chances this season.

Why do we need to get relegated to rebuild? Allardyce or Pulis would have kept us in the premier league and given us stability and a platform from which to build on when Lerner sells. The way it is now, we are on our way to the championship and may not come back. Also I don’t think Allardyce is just a “survival specialist”. I think he can do more than that and with backing he may have been able to build something here.

That';s kind of what I meant though. Concentrate on getting as many points as possible. The 38 point target was just me saying that that's usually about what you need to stay up. If we don't get to around that total then it doesn't matter what everybody else does. We're not going to finish above anyone if we don't get to the 30+ point mark. So for me, until we hit that sort of points total, with enough games left to make it to 36-40, it doesn't matter one iota what the other clubs are doing. I'll worry about catching and overtaking other clubs when I think we can get to a points total that matters.

This. You can't just suspend a player because he has a court case looming. Sunderland would have had to keep paying him his wages so you might as well make him work for his money. If he worked in a bank he couldn't have been sacked until he plead guilty so why would a football club be any different. Hopefully he'll be given a proper sentence ... but he won't.

i had to read it twice thought i didnt even know he was a singer let alone why the **** anyone would want to see him

I wouldn't be surprised if we've scored more than them by the end of the season, even with our complete lack of strikers.

We'll see how the league table ends up. I expect they (and everyone else bar maybe Sunderland) will finish above us.
