I will say though he looks committed and will try anything in his power to get things right. I just don't see the outstanding qualities which would set him apart from other managers in the premier league.
Just clicked on "Other Football" on VT and the Chinese Football thread was right above the Football Betting thread. Seemed pretty apt - I imagine the league in China filled with footballing mercenaries is ripe for some dodgy betting syndicate action.
For the record, I'm not anti Garde. There are better managers we could have appointed and there are worse. He comes across to me as mediocre at best and not the manager we needed to dig us out of a hole quickly. Considering the quality of managers in the premier league right now and the mountain he has to climb I can't see him being a success.
Her election to this office wouldn't just effect Texas. What makes the school-board so critical in Texas is that the state orders the largest amount of text-books in the country. The publishers of school text books cater to that market because it has the highest volume, and so every kid in America ends up learning what Texas wants. It came to a head a few years ago with the Texas school-board holding endless meetings about including 'Intelligent Design' as an actual science alongside natural evolution. At school board meetings in America absolutely anyone is allowed to get up and speak and absolutely anyone does. Apparently the people listening and making the decisions will be be bigoted, fundamentalist dinosaur on the ark believers.
