Yeah, but how much does the ink weigh?   That could really slow him down.

I agree but Gabby isn't too bad in the air. Gil should be on the half way line for me as let's be honest he isn't going to do defining a corner.   This may be incorrect as it's the BBC but they said it's the 11th consecutive season gabby has scored.   Im not his biggest fan but Saturday was one of his best performances in a good few years. If we are going to do the seemingly impossible and stay up he needs to keep performing like that for the rest of the season.
    • Relegation Thread Version...99?!
How many can we realisticly keep in the championship though? I think (hope) that after the injuries to Amavi and Traore, they'll stay at least for a season and pay us back. It seems we do look after our injured players very well. Although that doesn't mean they'll be loyal. Stewart Downing anyone?

I think all the players you mention would provide the making of a decent squad in the PL if we somehow stay up!

I assume your taking all competitions into account ? As I make 2009/2010 the last time he hit double figures in the league, however I'll concede this is a mute point. But what I'll stand by is that if by DDID's opinion of him having purple patches of 8-10 games which  could be expected to yield around 3-4 goals per patch?then surely he should he hitting double figures every season and not us splitting hairs over league/cups goals?
    • Do you read?
I'll echo Chindie and say American Gods is very good.  There are at least two versions, the original (2001) and the 10th anniversary "author's preferred text" version (2011). I went with the author's preferred text version and found it to be a bit baggy in places. I'd probably get the original version if I could go back.    Also: I just finished Blood Meridian.  It was spoken about on the last page when I was half way through but holy shit, that book just keeps going to darker and darker places doesn't it?  I'm sure there is an absolute ton of symbolism and metaphor I've missed, I mean was Spoiler Judge Holden the devil? I think it's easily the most intense thing I've ever experienced.  No wonder people think it's probably unfilmable.

I don't like them one bit but if it's between them and any of the Sky teams, I suppose they're the Leicester of two evils.
