I still can't watch our penalty shootout against West Brom without reliving the stress and that game was 5 years ago now.

The stupid thing is both yellow cards tonight were total BS. Honestly that referee should be removed from Conference League fixtures because it didn't even seem like he understood the rules.

Honestly no. It's not just his technical ability at saving penalties but the fact that he consistently psyches his opponents out. His reputation is such now that he probably doesn't even have to lift a finger to get inside the heads of penalty takers now.

Don't know why but I thought he'd sky his penalty. Fair play to him it was expertly taken.

That was such a bizarre game. Seemed like we played most of it at 80% and then just shithoused our way through the penalties LMAO. Referee is one of the worst I've ever seen.

I'd be fairly confident that Emery wouldn't go to United. Too much shit there, he wouldn't get anywhere near as much control and they have a very toxic fanbase.

Honestly it's tough to call. Sure Arsenal looked poor today but there's nothing to say they can't go out and put in the kind of performance we did against them when they play Bayern.

I might be wrong but if Arsenal, City and Atletico advance then regardless of what happens on Thursday, 5th spot CL is all but certain.
