  1. Enjoyed Diaby and Bailey having fun together. Would like to see them shitting up a few more defenses. Good work, on we go.
  2. Always respectful to the opposition on here.
  3. Like it. Looks like a good balance. Good luck to the new boys. Exciting to see what Morgan can do from the start. No injuries please.
  4. Presumably this year is a pretty good one to qualify with the changes coming in. Everyone definitely gets 8 games, rather than 6, so more ££ in the new format? Playing a wider spread of opponents (8 x once instead of 3 x twice) should make it a bit easier to avoid being in the bottom part of the league. Maybe.
  5. Bit harsh mate. We were 4 nil up after 30 minutes against them only a few weeks ago.
  6. Pretty sure we'll start with the strongest team available and sub on when (hopefully) settled. Unai will take this seriously.
  7. We really have missed Mings for this side of things. I'd have expected him to cut out a signficant number of the set-piece goals. He is just so good at blocking and clearing headers and we don't have that skillset in the replacements (however good they have been at times). Let's really pray he comes back as good as he was last season. With his defence and Pau's offensive contribution we would be challenging up at the top.
  8. I can't help thinking a draw in the Manchester derby would be good (on the assumption we do our business). City, Liverpool, Arsenal all play each other over the coming weeks (and us) and in my wildly optimistic moments I'm still looking up the table and thinking we're not completely out of it yet. (so you're telling me...jpg)
  9. Wildcard factor is the potential/probable point deductions for Everton and Forest. That could put them right in the relegation mix with Burnley and Sheffield (lots of 6-pointers between those clubs in the last few weeks). Burnley and Sheffield might suddenly find they have an (unlikely) chance of survival by getting something from Spurs.
  10. Feels like this is likely to be one of those really frustrating games unless we can get an early goal, settle things down and make them have to come at us. Want to see a really aggressive start from us.
  11. Similar to the DM 'supercomputer' ^^, Opta have us 50% chance of 4th, 29% 5th and 12% 6th. Spurs: 32% 4th, 38% 5th and 19% 6th Utd: 9% 4th, 23% 5th and 37% 6th That feels about right to me. But every game we get 3 points is going to shift the odds further in our favour now as games run out. Need to win the next 2 to maintain the gap to Utd and hope for a new manager bounce from Palace against Spurs. Would be great to have a bit of a gap to them when we play them and put the pressure on their run in.
  12. What is particularly annoying is that these spates of injuries were supposed to happen to the intense pressing teams - Newcastle, spurs, etc. Our style should have avoided it. Bad, bad luck. Anyway - still 4th or 5th for me. We'll adapt somehow. Could really do with everyone scoring from every chance now though.
  13. With no defence left, we'll just have to go all Keegan all-out attack.
