I'd also put a big asterisk next to the Man City spending to qualify "amount they claim to have spent in their fraudulent accounts"

Ok dominance is overdoing it, but they've spent less than Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Man United and won about the same as the lot of them combined in that time. So they've done better than most teams who've spent more, with Man City being the sole exception. Of course "they spent money as well", it's the premier league, but it's just arguing that black is white to deny that Klopp has done very well there for the money they've spent.

You've got to take the above numbers into it though, while they'd wish for more trophies, they've punched above their financial weight, and if it wasn't for the biggest cheats in British footballing history, they'd have had a period of absolute dominance.
  4. The one thing that 21 and 18 had going for them was that after the years of Gerrard, Terry, Ferdinand, etc, the England team suddenly seemed somewhat likeable, for a good 10-15 years I thought they were a bunch of words removed pretty much to a man.
  5. I think the theory at the time was that the dropshadow might represent some 3d visuals/embossing on the actual badge and wasn't verbatim what would be on the shirt and our branding, and this was somewhat reinforced by the version with the more detailed lion . That doesn't line up with our new sponsor getting their hands on the dropshadow version though, they're not going to be grabbing random images from the trademark office or VT One thing is for sure, this will all be cleared up when the club make an announcement in...when was it, January?
  6. I still don't love this version, but it is a marked improvement. The confusing thing is though, someone at the club must have given our new partner the new badge to work with, and it wasn't this version, which makes me think the drop shadow version is going to be front and centre

    Unai Emery

I absolutely wouldn't swap him with any manager in the world. That isn't to say he's the best manager in the world, but he's bloody good, combined with not being a scumbag, combined with already knowing he's here and doing the job we need him to do. He's the right man at the right club for something special to happen, and it looks like he knows it too.
  8. From a free kick that was never a free kick, obviously.
  9. I feel like I say this every week, but Onana is a **** clown.
  10. Absolutely beautiful. It's daylight robbery
  11. Been quite a while since we tried that, with that 39th game BS, but when I look at the fan parks they have set up over there just to turn up and watch the PL among other fans...yeah, it'll probably happen Just a question of whether it's the US or if Qatar or the Saudis buy a game or two first. It'll start with the charity shield I think, but their greed knows no bounds and "legacy" fans are a mere inconvenience.
  12. I saw your pre-edit and I'm watching you
  13. No, but the usual internet detective lynch mob are out there in full gear and have forced Wolves to release a statement saying it isn't their players. Doesn't matter whose lives they ruin in the process, or what damage they may do to an ongoing criminal investigation and possible future trial, dickheads on Twitter and Reddit have just got to crack the case.
  14. I'd rather have the University of Leicester law lecturer Dr Nicola Jackson up front than this clown.
