I remember that game.... I stayed to beat the traffic. Seriously by the 80th minute the ground was practically empty, the quickest I've ever driven out of Villa Park after waiting for the final whistle....

Barry didn't.... He started at Brighton as midfielder for the yoof team, then he was utilised by JG as the left sided defender in a 3.... Eventually evolved into LM under Graham Taylor then eventually DOL had him moved infield as a centre mid.

I am enjoying it, but finding it a little bit laggy at the moment - not sure if it's just me (my machine is reasonable!) - there are some really good quality of life improvements, for example using roads to pass power and water. It'll develop like the 1st one anyway!

I'm really struggling to understand the digipik minigame in this. It just feels random... Am I suppose to make sure every single slot is filled on every ring using the different keys? Or what? Whenever I think I've cracked it I can't progress past the next ring despite making sure that the other keys line up...

Didn't even have to get out of first gear, very pedestrian performance yet still win 3-1. This is what's called sustainable football!

Anyone else given this a go yet? There's a free playable demo that gives a good few hours gameplay. It's awesome, especially when the classic theme kicks in at your first bit of action. It seems to be getting a lot of love too, see the clip below.

Only another 24 goals to go before he matches Gabby's premier league goal tally for us. Hopefully then talksport and the media can stop referring to Gabby as "Aston Villa legend...."

Well the ref could have done something radical and pulled both captains together and inform them that a mistake had been made, the goal should have stood so it'll be awarded and the game will resume with a Totting Ham kick off. Controversial but it deals with the mistake quite quickly.
