  1. I think, out in the region of BMH and the Belfry, would be great.
  2. Folk see, what they want to see.....and ignore, what they want to ignore.
  3. I don't think the straight shoot out has been referenced with any other players around the England Squad. Harry Kane has earned the reputation he has got, and he is No1 for that role...but he has been given the game time to cement his place......He probably drives the team bus, as well, such is harry's desire to do everything. Strikers are by nature, easily injured....why can't both go? but on a selfish note, I don't care if Ollie doesn't go, less chance of injury..... we have already lost JJ for a season to England.
  4. If we want it badly enough, we have the capability of winning.
  5. My could be, is no different from another could be. Do you think Tielemans, would have played, if he was English?....Not a chance, yet he outplayed them, in midfield. Konsa looked like is was his 50th cap......yet, has been ignored until recently where Villa have been 4th for 20 odd games, so it was standing out as odd. I understand, everyone will have their own, view.....I'm just giving mine. ...you don't agree ,fine.
  6. I agree. I think Ollie lacks the natural aggression of Toney, ( I mean aggression with himself).....However, I think Ollie is the better allround footballer. I see they missed commenting on the crucial headed ball, he gave to Maddison to keep the ball in play, for Bellingham's goal. It was only Ezri, who was looking to pass to him, against Brazil. I think it takes time to be accepted in an England set up....and he hasn't had enough time. I noticed a few poor performances from England regulars....but Ollie seems to be the one forensically scrutinised.
  7. We have seen it with Grealish, at Villa, now with Watkins......We know the agenda. If they was playing with the media 6.....He would be all over them or cutting slack....it's an absolute joke how Rashford gets in. Even in the halcyon days of the early 80's our players struggled to get in...even winning the league and Euro cup, it was sparse selection. It's so obvious, it stinks. Our lads only get in, when it's so blindly obvious, he can't avoid it. Why did he not pick Toney against Brazil, where he knew, it would be tight....oh no he saves him for a lesser team, to help justify his bias. It won't change while he is manager.
  8. I think they do have differences, but I too think Ollie is the better all round....That said Toney has more aggression, but Ollie has more finesse imo. Folk need to remember, it takes games for strikers to get used to the feeders and vice versa.....also anyone watching that game, must have been in awe of the Brazilians defensively.....so sharp to the ball, robust in the tackle, and fine readers of the game....Not all games will be as tough as that, to score....the one he missed, the defender, got something on it, so its unfair, to judge him on just that, like some have. It seems whenever a villa player has a debut, or the odd game.... they have to give a worldie performance, to have another chance.....our players, get it in begrudgingly. I see some England players have game after game of sub standard performances, and it just gets dismissed...other have one questionable game, and struggle for another chance. Ollie said, before the game, players need to get used to his game, and he their game......that seems to have been lost, by fans who didn't want him in, in the first place. Personally, I don't much care....because selfishly, I don't want him injured.....but I do feel the lad is getting unfair negativity, from some quarters.
  9. Kiwi can speak.....shoe Polish? Back on topic.... We do need another quality right back and I hope we have our eyes on one.
  10. I don't think, it would be easy to replace, watkins either.
  11. and one who can head the ball like Mings or Laursen.
  12. TRO
