ender4
Does anyone have a subscription to PS+? I'm thinking of getting it for my PS3, but have a few questions: Has anyone got a full list of games on there Once they drop a game, does it ever come back? ie: I think Saints Row 3 has been dropped, so will it ever come back or have i missed it? Do they have older games? Do you think they will still cater for PS3 once the PS4 is up and running? best place to buy it for a year? offers/deals? hogso
I've subbed since very early on. I think if you go on the PS+ bit on the store it shows you all the games currently available. I would be very surprised if any game came back after being on promo. You do get to keep them after you've 'purchased' them and they've dropped off, though. They occasionally have PS1 and PS2 games, and I would expect support to continue for some time after the PS4 launch. As for where to buy, dunno, just get it from the store? It's a great purchase no matter what price you pay, really.
villa4europe
Does anyone have a subscription to PS+? I'm thinking of getting it for my PS3, but have a few questions: 1) Has anyone got a full list of games on there 2) Once they drop a game, does it ever come back? ie: I think Saints Row 3 has been dropped, so will it ever come back or have i missed it? 3) Do they have older games? 4) Do you think they will still cater for PS3 once the PS4 is up and running? 5) best place to buy it for a year? offers/deals? 1) there is a website called PSN blog eu or something similar, they put what next months games are on there on around the 3rd week of every month, tells you what is being taken off too 2) no, I missed batman 3) how old you talking? think its a mixture but not really anything older than 18 months, ps1 / 2 games etc they don't include but they regularly discount them 4) IMO yes, with PSN+ being pretty much a requirement for PS4 the whole service will get a huge push so that people like me, hogso and the other couple on here that use it to tell everyone else how brilliant it is 5) get the 3 month one for £11 if you are unsure, that way you'll get far cry next week, the push that I think will happen around the ps4 launch and the xmas sale, its the same price everywhere, game will just give you a printed code
ender4
so do they add at least 1 big game each month? how long does each game stay on there until it disappears? roughly how many free AAA games are on there at any one point? Dodgyknees
It stays for a month, then the new games come on. Correct above, PS BLog EU, best thing is to subscribe like I do. Usually two free games, occasionally there have been three. Once a year they update the main games.
villa4europe
roughly how many free AAA games are on there at any one point? id say 1 AAA, 1 decent game which if you're lucky will be one you want anyway but couldn't justify buying and then 1 arcade game (+ 2 vita games) so for example right now you have far cry 3 as the AAA, dragons dogma as the decent game and gianna sisters as the arcade game, but we've lost assassins creed, saints row and payday add to that the games that aren't on rotation / on longer for a month - LBP karting, XCOM, mafia 2, unchartered 3, spec ops the line, jak and daxter HD collection Edited September 30, 2013 by villa4europe

They usually add at least one retail game a month. I've gotten BF3, Uncharted 3, and XCOM from it which is a pretty good haul. They slacked off in September, but I assume they're holding back until the PS4 comes out. Usually there's about 2-3 AAA games on hand at any given point
Junxs
I was skeptical signing up to this, but in 8 months ive got such a huge library and backlog of games to play I dont even consider buying any new games anymore unless its something I really want.. all for £30 ridiculously good deal and I wish I signed up for it on day one. Think they have a rule where every PS+ title made available will always have a rating of 4* so you know they wont give you filler naff games. Honestly cant recommend it enough, I even bought a Vita so I could get the most of my subscription..
ender4
ok, you've all convinced me. just bought 1-year pass from Amazon for £37.
dubbs
Does anyone know if I buy it for ps3 / vita now if its transferable to ps4 when it launches?
ender4
as far as i can tell, you don't need to transfer it. PS4 games will just add to the same subscriptions.

villa4europe
metal gear rising and remember me next month I played metal gear rising for about an hour, if was dire, really dire, getting it for "free" might make me play it a bit more, remember me looked great but reviewed badly so I couldn't justify the £
hogso
Remember Me already? Gosh, that's barely been out more than a few months, surely
villa4europe
yeah came out early summer I think, it looks and sounds great but is meant to be bang average that's what id like from PSN+, games that I wanted to play but because they reviewed badly I didn't, im sure its still £25 to buy
Junxs
Also Motorstorm RC on PS+ next month which looks a good game too, I played the demo back when it was released and its really fun. Reminds me of Nitro and Micro Machines back on the Amiga which were two games I spent hours and hours on
ender4
Metal Gear Rising seems average so far (only played it about half an hour), but the reviews were good so maybe it gets better. my problem with PS+ is that i now have too many games to play and not enough time. i'm also not finishing a game before moving on to the next game. villa4europe
yeah same here, still got 3/4 rpgs on there from a few months back MGR was utter dog shit IMO
Dodgyknees
I download all games and then delete the ones I am less sure about, I then go back at some point in the future and give them a go.
