Dodgyknees
Been using it for a number of years and recently it has become awful, buffering constantly and unable to stream clearly without a blur or buffering. It wasn't too bad till they updated the app. I watch Iplayer, Netflix and other streaming apps on the Xbox with absolutely no issues and in fact, stream from my laptop (large films etc). Sky spend their time telling me it is something my end, bad internet (which is their internet and they told me when I phoned to complain that there are no issues) and have told me there is nothing they can do. Is anybody else suffering the same?
PompeyVillan
As in Sky on the Xbox not a mobile device? I upgraded the sky app on my xbox yesterday and it still worked well.

jadenb42
The only problem I have with sky go on the Xbox is that since the update it keeps asking me to login....the new layout is horrible too. The buffering is your connection surely, I have only 3mb and my Xbox is connected wireless and the picture is a good as it gets
Dodgyknees
I've no buffering at all with other streams, including Netflix. I've found some advice that says to delete the sky app and download it fresh onto a memory init (like a memory stick) will try that.
coda
I had problems with SkyGo (don't have it anymore) and was advised to download an old version of Silverlight from oldapps.com. It worked for me. I have no idea how safe that site is so use at your own risk!
Qwpzxjor1
Is it just me or have they got rid of the quality selection? Mine says Auto, and when I click the drop down, Auto is the only option (used to have Low, Medium and High).. I used to reduce the picture quality for a smoother stream, but now I don't have the choice the Auto keeps on giving me good resolution but slightly juddery stream. PompeyVillan
The new layout is really bad. It's hard to browse through the catalogue of films fast enough.
Dodgyknees
Sorted my problem now, just re-installed the app. And yes the new layout is awful!
mykeyb
So Sky are going to start charging 5 quid a month if you want to use Sky Going on your console, The computer will be the next one as it appears that they want Sky Go to be a poorer option to Sky via satellite
PompeyVillan
When are they bringing that in? Back to finding alternative means to watch football for me then.

benireduk
I find the picture quality on the Sky Go app noticeably worse than BT Sport app. It's as if the BT app is streaming in HD. Anyone else think the same?
