I can see him doing very well. Even if it is only for one month.

Sky Sports understands Aston Villa youngster Daniel Johnson has agreed a deal to join Yeovil on loan.
Glovers boss Gary Johnson is keen to bolster his midfield options and he has moved to bring in Johnson on a month's loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future after making a great deal of progress over the past couple of years.
Johnson has yet to make his debut for Villa, but he has been on the fringes of the first team having been named on the bench for several games.
Villa boss Paul Lambert is keen to loan out Johnson so that he can get some valuable first-team experience under his belt in order to continue his development.

any time ive seen this guy playing he's looked very, very good. any reason he's not broken into the team already? i know he's young, but he's looked better than most of the other kids, gardner included, when ive seen him play (which admittedly isn't too often)

He's straight in the squad that travels to Shrewsbury Town for this evening's match. I've read nothing about options to extend the loan.

Needs games at first team level, so glad it's happened. Never know might come back after a month and walk into our starting line up.... Actually surprised didn't go out earlier.

Can anyone who has seen a lot of his performances what kind of midfielder he is?

Seems Yeovil won 3-1 against Shrewsbury. From Yeovil's match report, it seems Johnson's main contribution was to give up the penalty that allowed Shrewsbury to get their consolation goal. Unlucky for the lad.

Still, the one month experience should be good for him.

cant see him getting much of a chance here when the time comes for him to step up, weve already got too many kids in midfield and competition for places high, maybe he can find another club to go out on loan to? dont we have a 'feeder' club?

Just signed a two year contract. I think this lad really has something. Hopefully this year he can kick on and finally make his debut.

I'm sure these guys slowly change and adapt as they develop - but what's his current best position? He scored a load of goals at the Hong Kong thing last year. Are hopes high for him do you think?

He looks like he could play anywhere in our midfield three, an all rounder.
