omariqy
A and B are two footballers who played for club X sometime after 2000. Both then left, A went to Y and won the league, B went to Z and also won the league (Z and Y are rival clubs). A and B then reunited at W before A returned to play for X. A and B have both won the Champions League. If you've seen this before then don't answer and ruin it for everyone else!

The_Rev
The definition of 'Rival clubs' is key here. Champions League winners since 2000: Barcelona (4 titles) Real Madrid (3 titles) Bayern Munich (2 titles) AC Milan (2 titles) Internazionale Liverpool Manchester United Chelsea Porto Of those who do you consider to be 'rival clubs' exactly? All of them? Barca - Madrid and AC - Inter? Man Utd - Liverpool possibly? Man Utd - Chelsea and Liverpool - Chelsea are too tenuous in my opinion. I'd imagine the players have had to have played for the two Spanish sides or the two Italian sides.

Keyblade
Did A and B win the Champions League with Club X, or clubs Y and Z?
Stevo985 Posted July 31, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted July 31, 2015 A could be Henry. But then B would have to be somebody who, presumably, played for Real Madrid and then New York Red Bulls and I can't think of anyone. Reyes played for Madrid but didn't win the CL
Stevo985 Posted July 31, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted July 31, 2015 Does the teaser outline all their moves, or could there be transfers in between? i.e did Player A go straight to club Y, then to W and then back to X?

Didn't play with any Arsenal teammates at NY as far as I'm aware.
PieFacE Posted July 31, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted July 31, 2015 (edited) For some reason I'm thinking Seedorf but I can't seem to find a link with another player. Oh scrap that, Seedorf wouldn't work... Would Seedorf and Zlatan work? *Goes to Zlatans Wiki* Booo... both played for Ajax, both played for Inter, both pkayed for AC Milan, One played for Barcelona and the other Madrid..... But the timeline doesn't match Edited July 31, 2015 by PieFacE
Stevo985 Posted July 31, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted July 31, 2015 Yeah I thought Seedorf too, mainly because he's played for so many CL winners. But he'd have to be player B. He never went back anywhere
