omariqy
Apologies if I've missed an existing VLC thread but I couldnt see it. I have an issue when I play some video files, usually flv, where the audio keeps skipping. Anyone know of a fix?
darrenm
Have you checked for an update to vlc? Did it happen before on previous versions? Do these videos play ok on windows media player / alternative player Try to eliminate factors to see exactly which bit is causing the problem. You may need updated sound drivers, video drivers, etc. if on windows. Any other factors? E.g. CPU maxed out, not rebooted in a while?
limpid Posted May 3, 2015 Administrator Share Posted May 3, 2015 It's probably a good idea to mention which platform you're using VLC on.
omariqy
Mac OSX 10.9.5 I've tried other players and the audio seems to be delayed quite significantly. So much so that by the end of the video it is about 4 or 5 minutes delay. I've only had it with flv files (usually footy games i've downloaded). May just be the file I suppose?
