Earl the Pearl Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 Hello, My name is Evan Millard and I live in Rhode Island, the smallest and least-known state in the US. I've played football my entire life and would now consider myself an avid follower of the game. I began watching the Premier League in 2007, and the Villa caught my attention immediately. While my freinds would rave about the "big clubs" like Manchester United and Arsenal, I found solice in supporting a "smaller" club that exuded such incredible passion (I know that we're not a small club but times have certainly changed!). I could feel the energy from across the pond when watching Villa on television every weekend, it was truly incredible. Villa were a team to be respected and Villa Park was a fortress! The team's effort was undoubted, the fans were vibrant and unwaivering, and I felt proud to be part of such a special club. While the club's fortunes have certainly changed, I am as passionate about Villa as ever. Young players like Delph, Grealish and Okore give me hope that there are good times ahead for us. Now all that we need is an owner that gives half of a f*** and we'll be heading back in the right direction! I love Villa and I can't wait to become a part of this community. UTV Link to comment
