Have you got any animals in the home? Here's one of mine (we've got a cat and some marine animals, too) -- he's crashed against a Buzz Lightyear and the TV remote. I think PETA is against pets, and so I apologise in advance for offending anyone with my wanton and ongoing keeping of this creature. Can you guess what breed he is? From Bruno, to the "twins" Jack and Charlie. All of them lived good, healthy long lives. The last, Charlie, a genius who thought he was human, sadly passed away not long ago. I posted this on my facebook: "Charlie. RIP (2001-2015). According to a calculator on the BBC site, that would be equivalent to 108 years old (!). He used to sleep downstairs but come upstairs early-morning just to say good morning as we arose. He then lay-down by his bowl for his "tea tea" (morning cup of tea). He knew when we were sad. He was humorous. He loved a walk through hills. He used to push me off of the sofa so he could stretch his legs out. He loved potato peelings. His farts were the stuff of legends. He used to hide his toy then nudge you followed by moaning at you to find it. He preferred our food to his (in his later years, Dad used to go buy him prime steak. "That looks good" Mum said. "That's for Charlie!"). As a puppy people thought he was a fox but then went "awwww" when I said his name was Charlie. During his adolescent years, Charlie was reunited with his brother, Jack. Jack sadly died a few years ago from doggy cancer but Charlie always looked after him. He was loving to all new members to the house, friends, pets and strangers alike. The smartest and most loving dog. He lost most of his sight during the past year but he still loved to play and really enjoyed getting out down to the fields. I haven't been able to see Charlie as much as I would have liked to in the past few years but every time I turned up to say hello, he greeted me as a long lost brother. Rest in peace, brother. Nicho Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 I cant wait until I get my first dog. I absolutely love animals and havnt had a dog since the family one when I was about 4. Massive commitment as Im fully aware they become a part of the family not just a pet. I'll go for some sort of spaniel/lab cross Very close! His name is Chasey. He's an English setter, and I know the breed was originally developed from spaniels. We had to drive back to London from Bristol cos he'd sneaked in. His owner had a baby herself around the time his mother had another litter.
