For my sins I've just bought a ticket to this! Must be nuts.

On the other hand it is a *cheap* day out as my dad is a Man City season ticket holder and will give me a lift; apart from the ticket price of course! £46 (inc fees) to watch us get spanked (probably).

Only a few hundred? Jeez that's pretty bad.

I will still be singing too - best away fans in the league (even if we only take a few hundred to Man City!)

It's a crap away day, it's a crap soulless stadium, we always get hammered, it's overpriced and you are surrounded by 45,000 citeh fans who are quite possibly the most nausiating people on the planet. I **** hate going there and I'm not surprised the sales are crappy

Everything you said is true but fans of other clubs have to put up with the same thing. Not having a go because I'm not going (due to gcse's coming up), but if we can't sell 1600 it will be disappointing Edited by Arj Guy

True - I take that point it's expensive and it's on TV. I've only been once before and that was to watch England play Japan in a friendly soon after the stadium open so can't vouch for how soulless it is. Strangely looking forward to it.

Tried to buy tickets yesterday but can only buy them if I can collect them from villa park. I live in Manchester though, is there anyway round this, don't really want to end in the city end?

Call the ticket office, they're usually helpful.

EDIT: Unless you already did, then I'll shut up.

Someone had this problem at the recent Spurs game. Ended up speaking to Spurs who rang Villa and sorted it.

Surely between them they can arrange an away ticket collection in Manchester.

Yeah sorted it cheers for the help, got put on some crazy duplicate list. But it's game on,UTV!

That's standard. They have to cheat the system and pretend your ticket was lost in the post! I've no idea why.

What i don't understand is why every single club hasn't joined the printable bar-coded ticketing system. For home and away fans. Nonsense.
