Wouldn't it be refreshing if the strike options are this:

Rooney

Ings

Austin

Berahino

Kane

In fairness Sturridge has played enough now to be fit enough for England games, watch him get crocked in training again which will have the Scousers burning effegies of Woy again.

Wouldn't have Welbeck in, don't think he's produced enough for Arsenal in the last few months.

It'll be Rooney, sturridge, welbeck, Kane

Not sure if there'll be any interesting call ups, they're friendlies after all, would rather see Kane play Italy, last month in big games he's hardly had a sniff, not sure if colback is still in contention

Most important thing for me is formation and shape, got it right in the qualifiers so far and needs to stick with it, that performance in Switzerland should be our blueprint for the euros

I'd go the opposite way. I'd have Welbeck but not Sturridge as he has looked out of sorts since returning to the Liverpool team. Welbeck has been good even if he hasn't been scoring much

I think the midfield looks ok if played correctly.

Would like to see MIlner in the middle with someone like Henderson, and maybe Sterling in front playing off the strikers.

I like that squad apart from the centre backs, The centre back area is **** dreadful!  Cahill, Jagielka, Jones, Smalling, deary me that's crap.

4-3-3

Hart

Clyde - jagielka - Cahill - Baines

Carrick - Delph - Henderson

Sterling - Rooney - sturridge

Set up like liverpools diamond, Delph and Henderson have to have enough about them to protect carrick slack of pace, Rooney and sterling rotating as to who is at the top of the diamond, I think it's decent apart from jagielka and Baines is out of form

He won't play that though, he'll shoe horn welbeck in again and go with Henderson and a.n.other in a failing midfield pairing

Not much wrong with that squad except that Austin really ought to be in there.!

Austin needed these games to be played 2 months ago, he would have got he's chance then but he has fizzled out lately

Doesnt make sense to not give him a chance though considering the likes of Townsend and smalling have been called up and they've done nothing all season.

If Delph plays, it'd be on the left of a midfield 3, I'd have thought. If that's the 3, I'd think Carrick would play centrally, and Henderson on the right.
