I actually have no problem with games being delayed. I'd rather they were finished when they were released than released half done *cough* drive club *cough*

This looks good though!

I agree that if the games not finished, it shouldn't be released. But, it was due out before Christmas and the reason they gave for delaying it was that they didn't want it to clash with the release of Drive Club and the Crew, nothing about it not being finished.

Can't understand how a game that was due out 3 months ago has been delayed until May.

Ah ok fair enough. If that was the reason then it's a bit strange.

Anyway, Driveclub was like a cocktease for me.

It whet my whistle for a good new driving game, but ultimately disappointed with the way it was, well, quite shit a lot of the time.

Hopefully this will satisfy the appetite that Driveclub awakened.

Haven't seen any detailed reviews yet. Maybe an embargo until Friday? Slightly concerned that the car list looks a bit light but I guess that's probably not official either.

I've never really enjoyed car 'simulations' such as Gran Turismo etc as I find them quite joyless, dry-as-a-bone experiences and this looks like it could be similar.

Give me a Burnout Paradise or Carmageddon any day :)

Reviews suggest it's definitely one for the petrolheads but can be picked up by novices and still enjoy it. Very tempted to give it a go.

Most my friends getting this for console, but it doesn't look like the frame rate holds up too well with night races + loads of cars on the track + rain. Going to get it for PC instead, but saying that with 55 cars on the track in the night while raining is going to hurt my 980 slightly...

My pc definitely won't run this so it'll be on the PS4 if I buy it. Hope the servers are up to it and there aren't loads of bugs on launch unlike driveclub.

Very impressed. Played it for about an hour so far. Looks amazing and the sound is brilliant. You can really tell the difference in handling between cars as well. Pit crew advice coming through the pad is a nice touch, but not sure if it will get a bit annoying. Sure you can turn it off.

Main plus for me is that all the cars are available from the off, so can start in karts or up in the Formula 1 look-a-likes. Quite refreshing not to have a game that focuses on XP and unlocking cars to move through the game.

Haven't tried online yet.

Picked this up tonight. Takes a little getting used to just driving some of the cars in a straight line but then you remember it's a sim not arcade racer. Looking to experiment with car setups over the weekend before venturing online. Visually not quite as good as Driveclub and the replays look a bit odd, but so far I'm enjoying it.

It's not just me, right? This game is almost impossibly difficult to play isn't it? Started tier 8 and cannot control these karts at all. Playing medium difficulty and can't finish higher than 3rd or run a clean lap
