Sky Predicting a hung parliament with

286 Labour

265 Tory

20 libs

2 ukip

53 SNP

24 others ...

Labour will be the largest party in a hung parliament after May's General Election, according to a Sky News projection based on the latest poll of polls.

still 100 days to go of course , plenty of time for Argentina to invade the Falklands or something

EDIT: Split from the current government topic because... it's about the election, silly! Bicks ;)

EDIT: Poll Added - Bicks

The poll is now open, true to the secrecy of the ballot, I have set it up so that votes are anonymous. You can change your vote at ay time. Just delete your vote, then vote again. This poll and topic are now set to close as the ballot boxes themselves close

Not that I'd pay much credence to Sky polls, but if Lie Dems get 20 and the kippers only 2, i'll be really shocked.

Thats probably about what I'd have expected to be fair - not in terms of exact numbers but a Labour, SNP, Lib Dem "grand" coalition will be the next government.

Prime Minister Miliband. May Paul McGrath save us all.

At first I was wondering why the need to have the Lib Dems in the coalition, then I remembered the SNP will only vote on issues that affect Scotland

Unless Labour pull their finger out, I think it'll be a lot tighter, and I won't be surprised if we need another election (although I'm not sure about the protocol).

Our system is a joke, anyway. It is possible that the Tories can get in with most seats but not the popular vote. That simply isn't right.

Only one government since WWII has actually won the popular vote

isn't it quite hard for the Tories to win outright  .. they had one of the best election performances in recent history last time out and still came up short  ..

( the Libs killing their boundary changes all but ruined their chances of victory  most likely ( coupled with other factors of course)

Who the hell do you vote for?  It's like asking me do I want to get kicked in the balls with the right boot or left boot.

if it's from a villa player they would probably miss anyway  ...

My thoughts exactly.

Which dickhead is slightly less of a dickhead than all of the other dickheads?

They all do the same thing anyway

can we have a poll mods ?  be interesting to see how many kippers and Greens we have  ...

I don't think I agree with any parties policies wholly. I would probably side with the Green Party the most but I imagine none of their policies would ever work in reality.

fixed :D

Yeah. Who kicks the least hard is as good as the choice gets.

I dunno about that (other than it's hard for them to win,) - I dunno if you mean statistically, or in your own personal view, but I think are both are wrong :) Their vote share was , as has been the pattern, amongst their smaller ones ever. They're dying out, just not quickly enough, the baby-chomping vermin.

they gained 97 seats  , their best performance since 1950   ... ok vote % wise it may be different but  that doesn't make my statement incorrect :P
