tomsky_11
Not sure if best place to put this, but does anyone have any experience/advice for going to games while on crutches? I've just had surgery on broken leg so gonna be using them for next few months. Have already moved my seat from holte to Doug Ellis lower for next couple of games. Anyone know best time to get to ground, eg when roads by ground still open? What time can actually get into ground? And when roads open afterwards for getting away? Or is it all a bit too much hassle?
PompeyVillan
I'm sure if you contact the club they will help you.

AlwaysAVFC
I did Villa v Blues 2 days after ACL reconstruction. My season ticket was back of lower Holte so there was no chance of me doing those steps. Contacted the club before hand and they moved me to Lower Doug Ellis towards the front. The seat they actually gave me was hard to get in but I asked someone nearby if I could swap seats which they did. Probably shouldn't have gone but did. I had to make my own way on the train there as well. Did the trip as normal really though, just allowing time for a very slow hobble from Aston station to the ground. We won so it was worth the pain and hassle. A late Milner penalty, which was probably perfect for me to be able to protect my knee by pre-empting celebrations. The following game I did as normal in the Holte, I may have been down to one crutch.

The Fun Factory
The only time I was on crutches I was in the North Upper and they let me use the lift to get to my seat. Your feet just sank into the deep pile club badge retro 80's carpet. Wonder if that is still there...

Not so sure about tomorrow. Got nearly two hour drive from swindon to get there in first place. Think my plan will be get dropped there before roads closed so minimal hopping about. Gonna see how I am in morning I think. Screws through my leg are not so comfortable right now...
