My dog Lulu is out of contract ATM, shes good at chasing stuff, does not mind a scrap and knows when to give up, knows when shes been a bad girl ..she also likes a good belly rub, not sure about the belly rub but she has Lambert on all the rest.

Taking her down the beach later but she will be available after that.

The obvious one would be Eddie Howe for me but then he would probably get hung out to dry by the board like Lambert has. Plus he wouldn't ever come here. Also another name to throw out there Sean dyche at Burney doing a great job and seems to have a really positive approach.

I fear both would end up as Lambert-like clones - he too showed the same promise at lower levels.

We need a complete clean sweep from top to bottom - only then will things get respectable

He isn't going anywhere let's face it. Lerner don't care and don't want to pay the compensation and lameberts still doesn't understand why he is getting booed. What a clown. My number one choice would be laudrup personally

Indeed. Lambert won't go till Lerner does.....

.....but we can dream.

Laudrup with Laursen as a second (as suggested earlier) sounds decent.

Platt and Cowans was the best midfield partnership I can recall down the Villa so, for an attempt at a quick fix at least until new owners come in, I wouldn't mind Platty given a go with Sid as his number two. Although, I guess there would be a lot of people disagree with me on that.

I do like the sound of Laudrup and Laursen too! We need people here who give a toss about the club and its fans!

Platt would be a total disaster, he's a shit manager

Agreed, club legends do not automatically make good managers (just ask Forest!)

More often than not they make poor managers.

Statistically speaking.

I said this earlier on Twitter and quite a few people agreed with me;

Laudrup with Martin Laursen as his no 2.

Agree with this 100%

Sounds great, but is Laudrup really going to leave a highly paid job in Qatar for such a short term project?

Whatever, we cant afford to employ 'another yes man' as lets be honest, that's why Lambert is still here! Herein lies the problem. Why would Lerner sack someone who is doing the perfect job for him? The perfect job being 'keep us in the PL on a shoestring whilst Randy pockets the sky money every season. I'm afraid this will continue until Lerner recoups most of his money. Sad state of affairs, I know, but thats it in a nutshell. Its either that or we go down and Lerner takes a hit on a potential sale. Not too much to look forward to then!
