Your greatest day ! ( No wedding or childbirth stories)

So what was your greatest day on earth thus far ? It is a given that most people say the birth of their child or the day they got married but nobody wants to hear that . It might just be the day you walked down the street and kicked an empty can, only to see it bounce off a tree and land straight in the bin ! It could be the day your accumulator came in and you blew it all on coke and hookers or even just that day when you found a tenner in an old pair of jeans !

This could be interesting and a break from the negative threads .

Child birth aside, probably getting a proper job during the recession. I was contracting early in 2008 but it was terminated in the April along with about 80% of my coworkers. I had enough money to see the year out but started to get nervous September / October time as i was looking for a job daily the entire time. Finally end of October i got a really good job on good money.

I felt on top of the world like a huge weight had been lift off my shoulders.

I never really saw the appeal of coke . Good quality ecstasy on the other hand ..

I remember being ecstatic when I discovered I'd snuck a 2:1 in my degree. At the time I was convinced I'd ballsed up the final year too much and would end up with a Desmond. The 2:1 was critical as I was considering a masters then and most of them seemed to require a 2:1 as minimum, but also just generally it's a better grade as well. I averaged 59.97% The utter sense of relief led to an exhilerating high for quite some time to be honest. 4 years of study came down to fractions of a percent.
