That's insane. I watched the Spurs/Mavs and Lakers/Rockets games. First one was a cracker to start the year, Spurs won but Dallas have such a good starting 5 and really impressed me. Getting Tyson Chandler back is huge, plus Chandler Parsons was a damn good signing - though he had a poor debut. Rockets never really got out of 2nd gear and made the Lakers look like an amateur team. I thought losing Parsons might hurt Houston a bit, but Ariza played well and looks like he'll fit in nicely. Kobe was awful, took so many stupid shots with guys right in his face, you can't have your best player playing like that.

Looking forward to the Nets opener tonight. Brook Lopez unlikely to play, shame it looks like he'll have another season of injuries because the guy has massive potential.

Mavs will go deep in the playoffs this year only team to give Spurs a series last year, Randle breaking his leg a massive blow for the Lakers too.

Cavs lose at home to the lowly Knicks, not the way they wanted to start. Thunder without Durant, then Westbrook gets injured tonight!

Brutal start for Thunder, they ran Clippers close enough though without their 2 star players, broken metatarsal for Westbrook in his shooting hand, could cost The Thunder a few places in the West.

This is the season I get into the NBA proper. I've always followed it but never retained an interest throughout a full season. Always called myself a Knicks fan, but open to being swayed by the Nets too. Watched both Knicks games so far. Good win last night for em.

Season started last night, Anthony Davis was absolutely incredible 26 points, 17 rebounds, 9 blocks, 3 steals. He had 9 offensive rebounds as well, no saying how good this kid could be.

I know. I had the 4th pick in my fantasy league and he went 3rd, of course. I picked Curry, and did ok the rest of the way. I have Noah, who is going to play less this year, so that one will sting a bit.

Lebron was awful, think the occasion got to him. Should be interesting to see how they bounce back against the bulls.

Rose looked amazing last night when he was on court. Never easy to win in Chicago I stayed up for first half but was up at half 6 so had to pull myself away from it heard cavs got some questionable calls. One think for sure though if rose stays healthy eastern conference finals will be unreal!

Really pleased with at. Joe with a dominant performance and KG doing a great job overall. We struggled against Detroit last season because of the quality of their big men and they're a big team overall, KG was the key tonight in beating that.

Cavs will take time some time to learn how to play together.

Kyrie Irving needs to stop being a ballhog and be more of a facilitator. Bill Simmons from YAHOO Sports wrote a column questioning whether LeBron was washed up already. He's 28.

I'm not pushing the panic button yet on Cleveland.

Knicks @ Nets tonight. Still trying to figure out which to root for so this will be interesting. Melo was god awful against the Pistons the other night although they nearly made an improbable comeback. If it wasn't for Larkin's turnover late on they my well have pulled it off.

Watched Raptors game since they were 6-1 and I couldn't see why. Then they were losing to a bad Magic team. Still couldn't see why they were 6-1. Then they were given some of the softest foul calls you'll ever see. They ended up with as many free throws in the 4th as Orlando had all game, and double overall. Refs gifted them the win. I then notice on the NBA.com stats site that they, on average, get 10 more free throws than their opponents and way, way above the league average. Also get 6 less fouls than their opponents, per game.

It's becoming difficult to take this sport seriously at times with the calls. It's not even my team and it's annoying how much of a joke it it. :crylaugh:
