Greetings from South Africa

Hello All,

 

I have been reading the forum for far to long without being involved so I thought i'd sign up. My mother was born in Birmingham and immigrated to South Africa when she was 14 with my Grandparents. 

 

I have been an avid Villa supporter as long as i can remember. My Grandfather and uncle joined the South African Villa supporters club and one of my fondest memories was when the team came over in '94 (I think)

 

I got my ball signed by the whole team, Mark Bosnich, Daley, Atkinson and Doug Ellis. Still have got the ball.

 

I actually play football for the supporters club on Sundays. It is a pity our country has such a small fan base for Villa supporters but hey they don't know the club's history.

 

Anyway good to be part of such a great club, i'll come over soon and you all can take me to the pub.
