DelboyVilla
Formidable Westwood????? WTF!!!!! Let's hope Sanchez can cover the defence because Zamora on last Sundays form will tear us a new one the way he is finding gaps between defenders? Brumstopdogs
Yeah judging by PLs comments, he will. I reckon we will start as follows. Like the idea of Sanchez in the team but not the idea of Weimann, Gabby and Cleverley together. Would like others to be given a chance.
KSV
Cole in for wiemann and sitting behind front two of Gabby and Benteke. Cleverley bit further back
AndJo
Really think he will shine with this opportunity he has! Could be a big player for us.

Woody1000
A lot to learn imo.....i wouldn't start him v QPRI understand where you're coming from, but the guy has proven in International games that he is capable of holding his own at a high standard, so he needs to be given a start IMO if they feel he is ready. He has looked a little off the pace in the glimpses we've seen, but he's been here for 2 months now so hopefully they've seen improvements on the training pitch that show he's getting up to speed. Perhaps he was getting a game almost on reputation before? With no disrespect meant to QPR, it is the 'easiest' of the last 6 games we've had, and probably the next 2 or 3 after that. I would suggest that it is the ideal game to put him in, especially coming off the back of a poor performance at Everton, and adding in Delph's injury obviously. I'd go with the team that Omariqy suggested, I feel that's our strongest 11 at the moment with the players we've got available. HanoiVillan
There's no games that are easy, and he has to start sooner or later.
lexicon
It's as good as any game to give him a whirl in.
wazzap24
Gave the ball away 3 times in succession, ultimately leading to their second, but other than that I thought he was arguably the best midfielder on either side. Constantly wanted the ball, passed quickly and forward as often as he could, won a load of headers and generally gave us some presence in midfield. Not to blame for tonight's result
rbcuk
Thought he was our best player tonight
villaglint
Yes I thought he was comfortably our best player except for the big rick which effectively ended the game! As you say came in a little run of mistakes so it's possible he started to tire. Def encouraging signs though
Keyblade
Excellent game. Lived up to his nickname, except for that sloppy pass that led to the second goal.
ROTTERDAM1982
Not up to the pace of the game, but showed enough tonight to show that he is potentially, apart from Delph, the only decent midfielder at the club. I'm quicker than Westwood Cleveley and Cole.
abdomlahor
Looked great up until the final half hour when his performance dipped. Not sure what went through his head for their second goal.
Jenko#4
I'm not sure whether he played he played well, or whether he was just as rubbish as the rest of them but it was just a different type of rubbish that I've not got used to watching yet.... grobs
Awful. Made some good tackles and interceptions but ultimately i think we would be better with 10 men
norwegianvillain
Think he was our best player today apart from THAT PASS
LancsVillan Posted October 27, 2014 Moderator Share Posted October 27, 2014 Looked very good for an hour then ran out of steam. The two misplaced passes were obviously evidence of that, yet Lambert didn't see it. Him behind Delph Cleverly and Westwood with a proper partner (like close) to CB and we'll be fine. DCJonah
Looked good, much better than last time and much better at doing that job than westwood.
Demitri_C
sancez was only positive tonight he looked real good. i dont blame him for his mistake he was clearly knackered but our idiot manager decides to keep him on and then makes the subs after QPR scored the 2nd. awful bloody awful
