Gaming 2014

So, we are now at the end of a decent gaming year...

What consoles do you have and what are you waiting for?

I'm mainly Vita, waiting for the second part of Broken Sword 5, FF10 and 10-2, a Fifa that is not just a skinned version of the previous, a Gran Turismo...

What about you all?

I've got the PS4, Vita, 360 (still holding onto it for now), Wii U and PC so am looking forward to a year full of games ahead.

I'm looking forward to playing the following games (hopefully all released in 2014):

Watch Dogs (PS4)

Infamous: Second Son (PS4)

Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U)

Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4)

Rime (PS4)

Pillars of Eternity (PC)

Zelda U (Wii U)

The Witcher 3 (PC or PS4)

Destiny (PS4)

Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS4)

WoW: Warlords of Draenor (PC)

I probably won't be able to afford half of them but I'm excited about them all. There are other games too that just missed out on the list, plus some of these ones may be pushed back to 2015. Good gaming years ahead though judging by the games cominout. Colour me excited!

Seeing as KH3 doesn't have any confirmed release date, even a Q4 2014, anywhere yet (FFXV likewise), I'd be surprised to see it released this (next) year. Dragon Age on the other hand might be the game that has me dish out for a PS4 ^_^

I fear Telltale's 'Adventure' games will start becoming a bit samey if they follow the same formula all the time and don't mix it up a bit. The Lego games are a good example of games that started out great, but they've evolved over time to something quite different but equally enjoyable as the first ones. Hopefully they make improvements to the gameplay by the time the GoT and Borderlands (how will that one work, btw? Strong characters is the main draw of Telltales' games, which Borderlands doesnt have at all, right?) come around.
